AVEVA

AVEVA is pushing AI into every layer of its CONNECT platform this year. Codvo already runs engineering PODs on the ground for AVEVA; the opening is to grow that from staff augmentation into the AI build-out itself.

Who buys

A technology and delivery decision, not a single signature. Click to expand.

  • Rashesh Mody, EVP of Business Strategy and Realization, already a Codvo contact on the ground and the person closest to where new AI work gets scoped and approved. [1][6]
  • Arti Garg, Chief Technologist, owns the technical shape of AVEVA's AI roadmap. Any engineering pod work needs her team's sign-off on approach. [1]
  • Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer, decides what ships inside CONNECT itself, including the Industrial AI Assistant. [1]
  • Brian DiBenedetto, CFO, also holds AVEVA's IT function. He becomes the budget owner once a build moves from pilot to committed spend. [1]

What they care about

Embedding AI without breaking trust in the data. Click to expand.

AVEVA states its AI strategy plainly: embed AI into existing engineering and operations workflows rather than bolt it on as a separate tool. [3] The centerpiece is the CONNECT Industrial AI Assistant, built to cite its sources and never blend one customer's data with another's. Trust and data isolation are stated design constraints, not an afterthought. [3]

The platform itself spans design, simulation, SCADA, asset performance, and cross-site data sharing for industries like chemicals, oil and gas, power, and mining. [2] Getting AI to work across that whole span, at the scale of a company this size, is the real project.

Where Codvo fits

Managed AI services, built on a relationship that already exists. Click to expand.

  • Managed AI services: Codvo's existing engineering PODs are the direct path to helping build and extend the CONNECT Industrial AI Assistant, rather than pitching a new vendor relationship from zero.
  • NeIO Meeting Assistant: AVEVA's teams span Cambridge, India, China, and the Middle East. Cross-region handoffs run on Teams calls that are recorded but not summarized, a direct, low-risk starting point.
  • Agentic GIS: a secondary angle for the asset and site data visualization work inside AVEVA's Data Visualization and digital twin products. [2]

The one risk

The budget authority sits above the team Codvo already works with. Click to expand.

AVEVA has been a wholly owned Schneider Electric subsidiary since January 2023, and no longer reports separate financials. [4] Schneider is making its own large, public AI infrastructure bets right now: an "AI Factory" platform with AMD and next-generation AI data centers with Foxconn, both announced mid-2026. [5] If AVEVA's AI build-out gets folded into a Schneider-wide infrastructure program, the buying decision moves up a level, away from the team Codvo already knows.
